I hope you are well. I am writing to be considered for an overseas assignment with Talbot Thingamajig, Inc. Specifically, I am requesting to be assigned to help open a branch of the company inArab countries.I chose to studyArab countries for my training course because I am extremely interested in the islam religion. I think that I will understand what they do for a living. Also, nobody I know is willing to do this so I would like to be the first to present thingamajig to the Arab world.
Over the course of the next 7 ½ weeks, I expect to learn aboutArabicculture, food, business etiquette and some important phrases inArabic.Having this knowledge willhelp me get a better job and help me learn about a different culture aspects and help me in the future development in working in a Arabic society.
Lastly, I think I would be a great addition to this team becauseI am thoroughly interested in the culture that I chose. I am also a very organized and helpful person.
